Senior Electrical Estimator (Commercial Construction)

Position Summary<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span>
<\/p>

You will provide detailed estimates and takeoffs for projects related to o<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>ur primary focus of: Heavy Commercial, Industrial \/ Manufacturing & Multi\-Residential construction projects to include renovations, tenant build outs, and ground up construction.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

Desired Qualification Requirements<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span>
<\/p>

• Minimum 1\-3 years combined experience in: Multi\-Residential \/ Commercial & Industrial \/ Manufacturing Electrical Estimating<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
• Minimum 5 years in electrical field experience.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
• Knowledge in Accubid estimating software preferred.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
• Well versed in NEC Requirements.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
• Work Hand in Hand with the Vice President of Operations & Principal of Company.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
• Participate in contract negotiations.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
• Capable Computer skills to include email use, Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Accubid and File organization.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
• Experienced in Design Build, Design Assist, and Layout of electrical systems.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
• Educated in the materials, means and methods of Commercial, Multi\-Residential & Industrial \/ Manufacturing Installations.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
• Strong Communication Skills and Leadership Qualities<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
• Time conscious (can be on time and efficient).<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
• Demonstrate dependability, flexibility, and teamwork.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
• Ability to pass drug screen and background check.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
• Ability to adhere to, implement, and always follow safety procedures.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
• Ability to work well with others.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

  Physical Requirements<\/span><\/span><\/b>
  <\/p>

  This is primarily an office position and, as such, you must be able <\/span><\/span>to sit up to six or more hours in an eight\-hour workday, lift light objects such as files and paperwork frequently during the day, and objects weighing up to 10 pounds occasionally during the day. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>You must also be able to bend, stretch, crouch, and lift as required by the job.<\/span><\/span>
