• Review project documents, blueprints, and specifications to determine scope and requirements.
• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates, including materials, labor, and time projections.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure cost efficiency.
• Negotiate pricing with vendors and subcontractors to achieve the best project value.
• Maintain and update estimating databases and software tools.
• Track project changes and provide budget adjustments accordingly.
• Participate in project bids, client proposals, and presentations.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, industry regulations, and best practices.

• Proven experience as a Senior Estimator or in a similar role within general construction.
• Industry specialization in commercial, industrial, or government (federal) projects.
• Strong analytical and research skills with expertise in estimation metrics.
• Experience with construction estimating software and cost analysis tools.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Certification as a Professional Estimator (CPE) is a plus but not required.
