Description

The role is responsible for producing detailed underwriting analyses, Argus modeling outputs, lender packages, and marketing materials, while supporting senior team members in client relationship management, due diligence, and transaction execution. The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of experience in commercial real estate, with strong analytical capabilities and a deep understanding of financial modeling, underwriting, and capital markets dynamics. This position offers meaningful exposure to institutional lenders, debt funds, banks, life companies, alternative capital providers, investors, and sponsors across multiple asset classes, along with significant involvement throughout the full transaction lifecycle.



Responsibilities

Essential Job Duties

  • Perform financial underwriting of commercial property cash flows including due diligence review and transaction execution using Microsoft Excel and ARGUS
  • Generate and interpret Argus Enterprise reports for application in lender underwriting and transaction marketing
  • Create, analyze, and audit property-, portfolio-, and entity-level cash flow models in Excel
  • Prepare lender packages, executive summaries, offering memorandums, and financing proposals
  • Support structuring and evaluation of various financing alternatives
  • Assist with due diligence, documentation review, and closing coordination
  • Conduct market research on lenders, capital providers, and financing trends
  • Support senior leadership in client presentations, research initiatives, and business development efforts
  • Gather market intelligence through research, property tours, and industry outreach
  • Perform additional duties as required based on transaction flow and team structure

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or related field preferred
  • 1–2 years of experience in commercial real estate, capital markets, brokerage, investment sales, lending, or related field
  • Demonstrated experience underwriting commercial real estate transactions
  • Strong understanding of real estate finance metrics and debt structures
  • Ability to take ownership of projects and execute through closing
  • Willingness to occasionally work extended hours based on transaction timelines

 

Compensation

 

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $75,000 to $85,000 annually, determined based on relevant skills, experience, and education.

 

In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, this position is eligible for performance-based bonuses tied to individual and team production metrics.
