Responsibilities:
- Prepare Mechanical Schematics, and Conceptual Models,
- Experience with Building Systems (HVAC, Plumbing, and Pneumatics)
- Prepare Mechanical Programming packages,
- Prepare Mechanical Schematic Design packages,
- Prepare Figures for reports/specifications,
- Coordinate Building Point Clouds,
- Coordinate with multiple engineering disciplines, Authority Having Jurisdiction, system engineers, facility managers, project managers, and project engineers. Build teaming relationship with technical and other company organizations.
- Develop technical requirements for infrastructure programs/projects.
- Ensure design deliverables comply with laws, codes, orders, and MSTS policies and procedures.
- Work effectively as a team member and leader to ensure task and project success.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering program, prefer degree accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET), and at least 8 years' relevant experience.
Must have a working knowledge of Federal (including Department of Energy Orders), State, and Local codes and standards applicable to mechanical engineering design.
Preferred Skills:
- Mechanical Engineer PE.
- Adobe Creative Suite (especially Adobe Illustrators),
- SolidWorks.
- AutoCAD,
- Revit
