About the Position

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to join our expanding Federal team, based in Honolulu, HI, supporting federal projects throughout the Pacific region. The ideal candidate will bring at least 8 years of relevant experience and a passion for leading complex, high-impact projects. In this senior role, you will oversee all aspects of project management, including scoping, budgeting, proposal development, schedule management, and project delivery. You will maintain effective communication with clients, resolve issues, manage deliverable submittals, and ensure successful project closeout. A key component of this role is developing strong relationships with clients, internal teams, and stakeholders at all levels.

The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, balancing the ability to work independently with the need to engage across multiple teams and disciplines. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage federal projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, schedule, and quality standards.
  • Manage project scoping, proposal development, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, track progress, and report on budget and schedule adherence.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, internal teams, and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution of project issues.
  • Oversee project deliverables and ensure successful project closeout.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance project outcomes.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field from an accredited institution; or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of 8 years of project management experience, ideally within the A/E/C consulting environment.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) or Registered Architect (RA) licensure is preferred; Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar credentials are a plus.
  • Strong proficiency in project management software, including Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, and other relevant tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • A drive to continuously learn, grow professionally, and mentor junior team members.

Many factors are considered when determining compensation at Pond, including scope and level of position, geographic location, candidate skill, knowledge and experience. Starting base pay may vary depending on these factors. We anticipate filling this position as a Senior Project Manager with a salary range of $117,400.00 - $189,500.00 .
