  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using P6 software. 
  • Coordinate with project managers, preconstruction, marketing and other team members to gather project information and update schedules accordingly.
  • Manage a team of schedulers, providing guidance, support, and oversight to ensure accurate and timely schedule updates.
  • Collaborate closely with the Superintendent to ensure alignment on project timelines and milestones.
  • Conduct weekly meetings with project teams and the Superintendent to provide progress updates and address any scheduling issues.
  • Monitor project progress and identify potential delays or issues, providing recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Prepare and present schedule reports, including 6-week look-ahead schedules, baseline delay slippage, and critical path analysis, to project teams and stakeholders.
  • Ensure that project schedules are aligned with project goals and objectives, and adjust schedules as necessary to accommodate changes.
  • Collaborate with multiple project teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of scheduling activities.
  • Conduct regular schedule reviews and updates to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist in the development of project plans, including resource allocation and risk management strategies.
  • Work closely with the project controls team to ensure alignment and integration of scheduling activities with overall project controls processes, including critical path submittals and inspections.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7-10 years of experience in construction scheduling, with a strong background in utilizing P6 software.
  • Proven ability to work with multiple project teams and manage complex schedules.
  • Experience in managing a team of schedulers.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders, including the Superintendent.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software tools.
  • Solid construction knowledge and understanding of construction processes and terminology.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in large-scale construction projects.
  • Knowledge of project management principles and practices.
  • Certification in project scheduling or related field.
