DUTIES :
Provide quality control support to the project team and direct personnel to implement quality
requirements and to accurately status the results. Perform constructon quality control inspecton and
surveillance actvites in support of project and/or maintenance actvites.
Safety is a primary responsibility in each job performed. Obtain safety training, obey safety rules. and

unsafe or will create an unsafe conditon.
Review design output documents in accordance with approved procedures in order to establish
inspecton requirements in quality assurance procedures, constructon plans, and/or work packages.
Coordinate with internal and external sources to resolve quality issues and provide status of the
inspecton/test actvites for the work actvity. Review technical criteria, personnel qualificatons and
work sequence on work packages including the notaton of hold points prior to performance of
inspectons. Perform or direct the quality inspecton actvites of subordinate QC engineers and other
inspecton personnel as assigned. Assist in resoluton of code, specificatons and drawing interpretatons.
Perform or supervise the performance of inspecton, witness, test, surveillance, and documents the
results of the inspecton actvites. Assess the completeness of constructon actvites and quality
verificaton documentaton prior to preparaton of quality control releases for turnover. Review
subcontractor's quality program for compliance to established procedures, atends mobilizaton
meetngs and monitors their actvites for proper implementaton. Review suppliers and/or
subcontractor's quality verificaton documentaton for traceability and specificaton compliance. Review,
assess and status subcontractors' costs, manpower and materials. Approve subcontracts invoices and
applicaton for payment.

Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and at least 5 - 7 years of practical experience in construction inspection or related areas. An associate's degree and 7 - 9 years of practical experience would be considered equivalent. A high school diploma and 10 - 14 years of practical experience would also be considered equivalent.
Practical field experience in electrical and instrumentation and controls (I&C) quality control.
Experience developing, revising, and performing peer reviews of Quality Control Inspection Plans related to electrical and I&C, in accordance with Design Output documents, Codes, and Standards.
Demonstrated experience performing field related inspections in accordance with Quality Control Inspection Plans. Document inspection results on applicable inspection records and issue non-conformance reports as required.
Demonstrated experience reviewing product and process compliance with all specified drawings, specifications, and other requirements through inspection and/or review of supplied materials and equipment.
