Position:
Social Media & Marketing Specialist
Reports To:
Senior Digital Marketing Manager
General Summary:
Responsible for managing promotional elements using marketing communications channels to ensure the proper message is delivered to clients and prospects. The candidate should have a background in marketing and/or communications. In this role the candidate will be expected to manage the following: abstract submissions with guidance from the Senior Digital Marketing Manager and Vice President of Marketing, presentation formatting using MS Powerpoint and Adobe Creative Suite, conference exhibit materials and shipments, video editing for webinar events, social media channels including LinkedIn, YouTube, and Instagram, and general support of marketing initiatives.
Essential Job Functions:
· Manage all social media calendars and posts
· Perform research and analysis for social media campaigns
· Create graphics for social media channels
· Assist in editing webinar events for broadcast
· Conduct contact list development and research efforts based on key client personas and demographics
· Manage abstract submission and abstract library for events
· Assist in the coordination and management of events and conferences as backup to the Senior Marketing Project Manager
· Pack and ship all marketing materials on request
· Format and develop presentation materials using MS Powerpoint and Adobe Creative Suite
· Data input for lead management as directed by the Senior Digital Marketing Manager
Other duties:
· Develop case study content under the guidance of the Vice President of Marketing
· Participate and contribute to marketing activities to help achieve company goals
Required Skills:
· 5 Years of experience, preferably at an agency
· Excellent computer skills. At a minimum candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office: MS Excel, Word, PPT, and Calendar
· Video editing experience with Adobe Creative Suite
· Excellent communication skills
· Ability to work within a team as well as independently
· Must be self-motivated
· Ability to meet deadlines and/or targets
· Must be adept at handling pressure and working under stress
· Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field and/or equivalent work experience
Pay/Benefits:
This position will be within the range of $40.00/hour - $42.00/hour.
