Sprinkler Fitter

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Sprinkler Fitters for projects located in the Caldwell, ID area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $40/hour based on experience plus $115-120/day per diem for Travelers 60+ miles from the job site. Job Scope:          

• Understand different types of piping materials, sizes & connectors as well as techniques for cutting, threading and assembling pipe
• Knowledge of various fire sprinkler system types wet, dry, preaction deluge and their components
• Ability to interpret architectural and engineering blueprints to understand the layout specifications and installation requirements of sprinkler systems
• Understand the principles of hydraulic calculations water supply requirements and pressure regulation
• Familiarity with hand & power tools used in sprinkler installation such as pipe cutters, threading machines, drills, saws, and wrenches
• Lift, carry & work with heavy materials
• Work from ladders and scaffolding

• Must have sprinkler fitter experience
