Job Scope & Accountabilities:
Kahua is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Strategic Partner Growth Manager to drive growth by building and nurturing strategic partnerships with Construction Program Management firms. This role focuses on fostering relationships, understanding partner needs, and positioning Kahua’s platform as the preferred Program Management Information System (PMIS) for their projects. The ideal candidate will excel in relationship management, strategic planning, and delivering value-driven solutions tailored to the unique challenges of the Program Management firms. This role operates within the Strategic Partner team in a business development capacity to strengthen and expand Kahua’s relationships with key accounts that will drive Kahua’s growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Partnership Development:
- Identify and target Construction Program Management contacts to establish strategic partnerships.
- Develop a robust pipeline of partnership opportunities aligned with Kahua’s growth objectives.
- Attend industry events, lead panel sessions and webinars, facilitate learning sessions, and conduct in-person meetings alongside Sales Reps
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Partner with Construction Program Management firms to deeply understand their workflows, challenges, and goals.
- Facilitate discovery sessions, interviews, learning sessions, and focus groups to gather insights.
- Liaison to Sales Executives and Sales Leadership to understand current opportunities and PM involvement
Strategic Planning:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop partnership strategies that support market expansion and revenue growth.
Solution Selling:
- Clearly articulate the value of Kahua’s platform in addressing the specific challenges faced by Program Management firms.
Market Insights & Analysis:
- Stay current on trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in Program Management and PMIS.
- Stay current on awarded contracts and projects to key Construction Program Management firms.
- Provide feedback to internal teams on partner needs and market demands to inform partnership, sales and marketing strategies.
Performance Tracking & Reporting:
- Set and achieve partnership growth targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Maintain accurate records of activities, opportunities, and outcomes in CRM systems.
Education & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships, preferably within construction, engineering, or program management industries.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales or partnership goals.
- Deep understanding of the PM capture process from initiation through award
Education/Professional Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
Skills:
- Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate market insights into actionable plans.
- Negotiation and contract management expertise.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented.
- Proficient in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Travel:
- The role requires traveling up to 50% to attend industry events, conduct meetings with strategic partners, support Sales Reps with in-person meetings, and facilitating learning sessions
