Overview

Reports to: Senior Superintendent or Senior Project Manager
FLSA Status: Full-Time, Salaried Exempt

 

Location: San Antonio, Texas and various unanticipated locations throughout the United States.

 

Position Objective: Responsible for on-site coordination of all trades and Joeris employees for construction of the project.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the on-site of all trade and Joeris employees for construction of industrial projects such as large warehouse/distribution centers; ammonia refrigeration; tilt wall/precast panel; insulated metal plan; food safety and manufacturing; tempered, refrigerated, and frozen warehouses.
• Actively support and promote the Company's commitment to safety and its core values.
• Maintain strong relationships and networking with clients, design partners, trade partners, suppliers, and all project stakeholders.

• Schedule and coordinate subcontractors and material deliveries.
• Report accident of any type to the Safety Team and document accordingly.
• Communicate with Senior Superintendent and Project Manager of labor and material needs.
• Keep daily time records and accurate cost centers for each employee.
• Create and maintain daily job reports.
• Review shop drawings for contract conformance, field dimensions, etc. for industrial projects.
• Reviewing shop drawings for contract conformance, field dimensions, etc.
• Maintaining jobsite “record set” drawings.
• Take photos of jobsite progress and track accordingly.
• Obtaining and track all necessary city inspections
• Obtaining and terminate all temporary utilities requests.
• Completing all punch list items.
• Perform weekly review of job costs.
• Maintaining quality control.
• Maintain tool and equipment maintenance for industrial sites.
• Mentor and train Assistant Superintendents and Assistant Project Managers on their job duties.
• Ensure Project Team is actively participating in assigned training.

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:  

Bachelor's degree in Construction Science, Civil Engineering, or closely related and five (5) years of experience in any occupation or job title supervising commercial projects in the industrial commercial sector including in large warehouse/distribution center; tilt wall/precast panel; insulated metal plan; food safety and manufacturing; tempered, refrigerated, and frozen warehouse; five (5) years of experience in logistics - racking and material handling, and with drafting, surveying, TOTAL station, or CAD.

 

ALTERNATE REQUIREMENTS: 

Seven (7) years of experience in any occupation or job title supervising commercial projects in the industrial commercial sector including in large warehouse/distribution center; tilt wall/precast panel; insulated metal plan; food safety and manufacturing; tempered, refrigerated, and frozen warehouse; seven (7) years of experience in logistics - racking and material handling, and with drafting, surveying, TOTAL station, or CAD.
