POSITION AVAILABLE: Asphalt Plant(s) Superintendent
POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Asphalt Production Manager, will oversee asphalt production and plant maintenance at the Asphalt Plants. This leadership role is responsible for managing personnel, optimizing plant operations, and ensuring profitability through efficient processes, quality control, and customer satisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead and oversee operations for the Asphalt Plants, ensuring the efficient production of high-quality asphalt products.
Manage and mentor asphalt plant employees, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and professional growth.
Drive operational excellence by implementing best practices in plant maintenance, equipment utilization, and process improvement to maximize profitability.
Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations, environmental policies, and industry standards.
Coordinate with multiple stakeholders, vendors, and teams to streamline operations and meet production goals.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field OR equivalent work experience with a proven track record of success.
Minimum of 10 combined years of experience in plant management, construction, asphalt production, mining, or a related industry.
Demonstrated experience leading teams, managing projects, and achieving profitable outcomes.
Strong understanding of heavy equipment operations, maintenance, and production processes.
Excellent leadership, communication, and time management skills.
Ability to organize and oversee complex processes involving multiple parties and vendors.
