Supervisor of Contractor Relations – Metronet
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Supervisor of Contractor Relations will be responsible for leading the Contract Administrator teams as well as directing the work and workload for those teams. This position will be a position where this role not only knows each part of the job at hand but will also be working daily tasks/duties as well as providing back-up for associates as needed. Additionally, this position will be responsible for completing associate performance reviews, providing associate guidance and coaching, identifying development needs, and as well as analyze and implementing training for the benefit of the team.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Manage the day-to-day activities of the Contract Administrator team to ensure operational needs are met and exceeded.
- Complete the review and approval of associate timecards to ensure accuracy.
- Ensure associates have appropriate training and other resources to meet/exceed department and individual metrics.
- Work with the Project Director to continually maintain and establish work procedures and processes that support the company and department standards, procedures, and strategic directives.
- Create and maintain a high-quality work environment where associates are motivated to perform at their best.
- Provide continual evaluation of processes and procedures to maintain efficient department operations.
- Assist with statistical and performance feedback and coaching to each associate on a regular basis.
- Address disciplines and/or performance concern swiftly and consistently according to company policy.
- Prepare and communicate corrective action effectively with associates and make effective/appropriate decisions relative to any corrective action as required.
- Contribute to the daily success of the team by taking on tasks to complete; be the backup to associates as needed.
- Establish relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure information is being shared efficiently and effectively.
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned to assist the Project Controls Director.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience coaching and managing teams in a previous (Manager and/or Supervisor) role.
- Proven ability to manage a team as well as drive deadlines and goals.
- Proficient computer skills/knowledge including knowledge of Microsoft Office systems. (Including Outlook, Word, and Excel)
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask efficiently and effectively
ADDITIONAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- May require after-hours and weekend work
- This position will be Remote but will have to be at the 300 E Walnut location at least one week every month.
- Valid driver's license or willingness to travel across state lines required
- 2 Years of experience leading associates.
- Will be required to visit all direct reports at their location once a month for a few days.
