The Role: Supply Chain Manager
As a Supply Chain Manager at Switch, you will be part of a world-class team that operates in excellence, delivering mission-critical solutions that redefine what�s possible in AI, cloud and enterprise data center needs. Your work will directly impact the future of technology and the sustainable growth of the Internet.
What You�ll Do
- Manage all supply chain functions including demand planning, logistics, forecasting, inventory management, and vendor coordination.
- Monitor and track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure adherence to schedule and budget constraints. Proactively identify and address any issues or risks that may impact project execution.
- Forecast potential issues in advance to prevent disruptions and support informed business decisions.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain operations. Evaluate supplier performance and drive continuous improvement.
- Lead the qualification and performance evaluation of suppliers delivering equipment and services to the data center construction portfolio. Conduct regular business reviews to assess and enhance supply chain effectiveness.
- Serve as the first point of escalation for capital project delivery teams regarding vendor or supply chain performance issues (e.g., late deliveries, change orders, invoice discrepancies). Investigate and resolve issues in collaboration with suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Prepare and present regular progress reports, status updates, and KPI metrics to senior management and stakeholders. Ensure clear and consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with Design Engineering, Construction, and Operations teams to communicate extended lead times and component obsolescence risks.
- Support internal teams in managing supplier framework agreements, including renewals, extensions, and discontinuations. Issue equipment orders under existing agreements as needed.
- Drive next-level innovation in Construction to support our mission-critical infrastructure.

What You'll Bring
- Strong working knowledge of procurement-adjacent supply chain processes for mechanical, electrical, and data center-specific equipment and services.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills to support demand forecasting and inventory planning aligned with strategic objectives.
- Proven ability to facilitate collaboration between suppliers and general contractors.
- Team-oriented with the ability to work through conflict and ambiguity effectively.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, ERP systems, data analytics platforms).
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
