Job Title: Surveying Field Technician/Licensed PS
Location: West Chester, OH

FLSA Status: Non-exempt
Travel: Local travel required.
Supervisory Responsibility: None.
Compensation: Negotiable, based on skills and experience.

Quality Construction Management, Inc. is seeking someone to fill a position in our surveying department. We provide a wide array of services which include boundary surveying, Fema Certificates, asbuilt verifications, construction layout for big and small companies, base maps for design, and even slot machine layout on the carpet(true).

Job Duties:

• Provide jobsite coordination.
• Provide clear and concise communication with clients, homeowners, and contractors.
• Must be able to place hubs and iron pins in the ground with a hammer and capable of walking around with the equipment required for site layout.
• Needs to be comfortable transferring data to and from a field data collector via a computer.
• Experience and a good understanding of GPS positioning for producing the best results is a plus.
• Needs to have field awareness for working safely around heavy construction equipment and busy roads.
• Required to use field codes in a certain manner for the field to finish results when creating a base map.

Job Requirements:

• A college degree is preferred, and/or combination of education and work experience in Field Surveying preferred.
• Minimum of two years' experience required.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to act professionally at all times even under pressure or difficult conditions.
• Proficient computer skills in basic email, phone, and text message applications.
• Proficient computer skills in Carlson software preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong technical knowledge of running robotic units, preferably Topcon Robotics GT Series with Magnet software.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail; well organized.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships.
