Night Shift Operations Supervisor Louisville Pavement Sweep

Louisville Pavement Sweep is an exterior maintenance company serving commercial and residential customers with power sweeping, portering, and related services. We are committed to keeping properties clean, safe, and well-maintained while operating responsibly and with care.

We are seeking a Night Shift Operations Supervisor to oversee night crews, ensure service quality, support employee training, and help maintain vehicles and equipment.

Schedule Requirements

• Night shift: 9:30 PM - 8:00 AM, Monday-Friday
• 4-5 nights per week, including weekends as needed
• 40 hours per week minimum
• Flexible schedule required

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise night shift employees performing sweeping, portering, and related services
• Lead nightly safety meetings and report attendance
• Review routes, schedules, and service completion using phones, tablets, and apps
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and timeliness
• Inspect vehicles and equipment before and after shifts for safety and damage
• Report maintenance issues and coordinate with mechanic staff
• Keep shop and work areas clean and organized
• Provide weekly operations updates and employee performance feedback to ownership
• Train and support both new and experienced drivers
• Serve as a backup driver when needed

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Must be ready to be vocal when recognizing a problem so that it can be fixed
• Ability to work overnight hours and maintain reliable attendance
• Comfortable using mobile technology and digital reporting tools
• Valid driving record required; ability to operate company vehicles, including power sweeping trucks, with approved MVR
• Pass a drug screening
• Must lead by example and follow all company policies and procedures

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

While performing the duties of this job, the Employee is routinely required to drive, stand, walk, sit, use hands/fingers, reach outward, reach above shoulder, climb, crawl, squat or kneel, and/or bend. The Employee must occasionally lift/carry up to 150 lbs., and/or push/pull up to 200 lbs. Work is performed sitting in a vehicle and outdoors for extended periods of time in various weather conditions
