What You’ll Do

  • Design, coordinate, and schedule comprehensive safety training for new hires, ongoing development, and role-specific needs.
  • Deliver engaging safety training sessions in classroom, field, and digital (LMS) formats, or facilitate expert-led learning experiences.
  • Monitor and track training completion, certifications, and renewal deadlines, ensuring full regulatory and company compliance.
  • Maintain meticulous training records and documentation to support audits and operational readiness.
  • Champion adherence to OSHA, MSHA, DOT, and our own rigorous safety standards.
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of training materials and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Support incident investigations by identifying and addressing training gaps to prevent future occurrences.
  • Serve as the go-to resource for all safety training inquiries, fostering open communication and trust.
  • Collaborate closely with Operations, Human Resources, and leadership to assess training needs and drive impactful solutions.
  • Represent the site during safety audits and inspections, demonstrating our commitment to excellence.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in safety, training, or operations (industry knowledge is a strong plus).
  • Solid understanding of OSHA/MSHA regulations and safety management best practices.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to communicate clearly at all levels.
  • Confident facilitator with a talent for making training interactive and memorable.
  • Proficient in managing training databases or Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Valid driver’s license required.
