The PENTA Building Group is searching for a Training & Development Specialist to join our team in Las Vegas, NV!
The Training & Development Specialist at PENTA is responsible for developing, implementing, and delivering training programs to enhance employee skills and performance, as well as managing the learning management system.
At PENTA, a Training & Development Specialist:
- Identifies training and development needs through survey, interviews, focus groups, and communication with managers and instructors.
- Designs and develops training materials tailored to PENTA, including On-the-Job-Development on-site training, classroom instruction, and audiovisuals.
- Assesses the effectiveness of training programs and makes necessary adjustments for improvement.
- Develops customized training programs to address specific employee needs and improve job skills.
- Organizes, plans, and delivers various training formats.
- Reviews and evaluates training materials prepared by instructors.
- Maintains records of training activities, attendance, and results of tests and assessments using a learning management platform.
- Travels to jobsites and regional locations; minimum of 50% of the time will be spent on project sites interfacing construction field employees.
- Collaborates effectively with other team members across the company.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
We trust that you have:
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of training and content development experience is required.
- Proficiency in designing and implementing effective training and development programs.
- Skills in using various multimedia training platforms and methods.
- Ability to evaluate, research and select training options and alternatives.
- Experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong presentation abilities.
- Capability to visit local project sites and travel regionally as required.
