Description

The PENTA Building Group is searching for a Training & Development Specialist to join our team in Las Vegas, NV! 
 
The Training & Development Specialist at PENTA is responsible for developing, implementing, and delivering training programs to enhance employee skills and performance, as well as managing the learning management system.
 
 

At PENTA, a Training & Development Specialist: 

  • Identifies training and development needs through survey, interviews, focus groups, and communication with managers and instructors.
  • Designs and develops training materials tailored to PENTA, including On-the-Job-Development on-site training, classroom instruction, and audiovisuals.
  • Assesses the effectiveness of training programs and makes necessary adjustments for improvement.
  • Develops customized training programs to address specific employee needs and improve job skills.
  • Organizes, plans, and delivers various training formats.
  • Reviews and evaluates training materials prepared by instructors.
  • Maintains records of training activities, attendance, and results of tests and assessments using a learning management platform.
  • Travels to jobsites and regional locations; minimum of 50% of the time will be spent on project sites interfacing construction field employees.
  • Collaborates effectively with other team members across the company.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of training and content development experience is required.
  • Proficiency in designing and implementing effective training and development programs.
  • Skills in using various multimedia training platforms and methods.
  • Ability to evaluate, research and select training options and alternatives.
  • Experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong presentation abilities.
  • Capability to visit local project sites and travel regionally as required.
