Basic IDIQ, Inc. is seeking an experienced Traveling Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage daily operations on construction sites across multiple states. This role is critical in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. The Superintendent will coordinate with teams, monitor progress, and act as the primary point of contact on-site. Travel and living expenses are fully covered.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Oversee daily construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and timelines.
  • Supervise and direct workers and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to quality standards and schedules.
  • Maintain and update As-Built drawings throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, engineers, inspectors, and suppliers to resolve issues and improve methods.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and hold workers accountable to safety standards.
  • Prepare and review daily reports on progress, materials used, and site personnel.
  • Utilize Procore to document progress photos, reports, and schedule updates.
  • Schedule and coordinate inspections and ensure all permits and approvals are in place.
  • Travel primarily within Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Mississippi, and other nearby states as needed.

The ideal candidate should possess:
  • Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar supervisory role (minimum 7 years preferred).
  • Strong understanding of construction procedures, specifications, and project management best practices.
  • Proficiency in maintaining As-Built drawings and using project management tools like Procore.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel and work on multiple sites across various states.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and team collaboration.

Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
  • OSHA 30 certification is required (training provided if needed).
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
