Unarmed Security Officer in the Apopka Florida

Excelsior Defense is looking for professional Unarmed Security Officer in the Apopka Florida Area to protect our client's premises, assets and personnel. You will maintain a high visibility presence and prevent all illegal or inappropriate actions and maintain access control into the property of the housing authority. The goal is to detect, deter, observe and report. This post is a patrol around the property, and to do writing report every hour, including scans through the property, ensure a safe environment with a professions and polite manner.

Post days and hours:

Monday and Tuesday 9pm to 5am

Sunday 3pm to 9pm

Responsibilities:

• Protect client's property by maintain a safe and secure environment
• Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances
• Act Lawfully in direct defense of life or property
• Apprehend criminals and evict violators
• Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences
• Report in detain any suspicious incidents
• Patrol every hour
• Watch alarm systems

Skills:

• Proven work experience as a security officer or relevant position
• Valid D security license (needs to be active)
• Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment
• Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
• Surveillance skills and detail orientation
• Integrity and Professionalism
• Detailed report writing

Base Rate: $18.18 hourly
