Position: Vice President, Innovation
Reports to: Chairman and CEO
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Pay Range: $250,000 - $300,000

Superior is seeking a Vice President of Innovation to identify, test, and implement technologies that improve how we build and operate. This role will work across the entire organization – from our jobsite teams to our corporate functions – to drive practical technologies (software and hardware) that make our business even better. This position will be based at our headquarters in Columbus, Ohio.
Key Responsibilities
- Set and drive the company’s near and long-term innovation strategy
- Serve as Superior’s main point of contact, and a public-facing innovation leader, on new construction and corporate technologies
- Partner with the CEO to align leaders around innovation priorities and change initiatives
- Identify and evaluate new innovation technologies
- Build and manage relationships with startups, venture capital firms, and manufacturers
- Lead pilots to test new technologies in jobsite and corporate environments, ensuring clear success criteria
- Partner with colleagues to validate ROI and scalability
- Chair the Product Review Council to help evaluate ROI, risk, and operational fit
- Drive successful rollout of proven solutions across the organization
- Foster a culture of digital fluency, experimentation, and continuous learning

Your Expertise
- Required: You have proven experience in construction innovation, corporate innovation, venture capital, startups, or strategy consulting
- Required: You have experience identifying, piloting, and scaling new technologies
- Required: You have experience working with startups or venture capital firms

- Bonus Points: You have experience supporting with the analysis and diligence of strategic investments and partnerships
