Position Overview: The Warehouse Associate reports to the Warehouse Manager. Responsibilities are focused on performing an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials; picking and filling orders from stock; serving as the point of contact for facility maintenance needs; packing and shipping orders; or managing, organizing, and retrieving stock in the warehouse. 

Essential Job Functions:
  • Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area
  • Process and deliver regular mail and shipped items
  • Assist shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, and checking in merchandise
  • Completes deliveries by driving truck or van to and from vendors
  • Point of contact for maintenance issues that arise at the facility
  • Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing request, recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed through a computer
  • May also assist in counting of physical inventory
  • Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; Sweep, dust and mop. Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times
  • Maintains quality service by following organization standards
  • Completes reports by entering required information
  • Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing publications
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Position Requirements:
  • HS Diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively (both orally and in writing) with diverse individuals and to consistently handle interpersonal situations in a professional and respectful manner
  • Excellent organizational ability, to prioritize, organize workload, handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously and to meet deadlines
  • Detail oriented and the ability to provide accurate documentation
  • Solid knowledge of Google Apps platform and have the ability to learn new software applications and computer programs
