Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily warehouse operations at our Kentucky Warehouse location. This role oversees inventory accuracy, safe material handling, efficient workflows, and team performance. The Warehouse Supervisor works closely with internal departments to ensure product availability, accurate order fulfillment, and smooth inbound/outbound logistics.
Operational Leadership
Supervise daily warehouse activities: receiving, put-away, picking, staging, packing, cycle counts, and shipping.
Assign tasks, manage workflow, and maintain an organized, efficient warehouse environment.
Ensure compliance with SOPs, productivity standards, and company policies.
Inventory Management
Oversee receiving accuracy, labeling, and bin locations.
Conduct and audit cycle counts; investigate inventory variances.
Monitor stock levels and partner with purchasing/inventory teams to prevent stockouts or overstock.
Safety & Compliance
Enforce safety policies, forklift standards, PPE use, and equipment protocols.
Ensure daily equipment inspections and perform routine safety walks.
Train staff on safe handling procedures and emergency responses.
Team Leadership
Lead, coach, and develop warehouse associates.
Conduct performance evaluations, corrective actions, and ongoing training.
Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive work environment.
Logistics Coordination
Communicate with drivers, service, construction, retail, and other departments regarding inbound/outbound schedules, ETAs, and order readiness.
Ensure accurate staging, loading, and documentation for all transfers and deliveries.
Reporting & Administration
Complete daily operational reports, KPIs, shift handoffs, and documentation (BOLs, receiving logs, incidents, etc.).
Assist in peak-season planning and process improvement initiatives.
Required:
2–4 years warehouse experience; 1+ year in a lead or supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory systems.
Ability to safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks.
Proven leadership and communication skills (bilingual English/Spanish a plus).
Computer proficiency with WMS, scanners, and basic reporting.
Preferred:
Experience in retail distribution, construction materials, or pool/spa inventory.
OSHA or forklift certification (or ability to become certified).
Experience with cycle counting, root-cause analysis, and process improvement.

Frequent bending, twisting, climbing, and equipment operation.
Ability to work in varying seasonal temperatures.
Full-time; weekend or extended hours during peak season as needed.
Participation expected in morning huddles, safety meetings, and leadership reviews.
