Welder

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Flat Welders for projects located in Castleton, IN. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $24-30/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:        

• Read and interpret engineering drawings 
• Weld a variety of blast cabinets and rooms 
• Layout, measure, cut, fit and weld thin gauge materials 
• Maintain welding equipment 
• Other tasks assigned 

• Must have a minimum of 4+ years of experience with welding and fabricating thin gauge materials 
• Must have a high school diploma and completion of a tech school program 
• Must be able to read and interpret complex drawings
• Must be able to set up weld machine parameters, amps, volts, etc... 
• Strong knowledge of common welding tools and materials
• Working knowledge of fixture and clamping techniques 
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs 
• Must be able to bend, stoop and stand for extended periods of time
