Windows and Doors Sales Specialist

Essential Functions
  • Working knowledge of Allen & Allen Co.’s full line of windows and doors product and service offerings
    • Current brand offerings include:  Marvin, Western, JELD-WEN, Kolbe, Sierra Pacific, TruStile
  • Negotiate, present, problem solve and manage overall customer experience and satisfaction
  • Increase profitability of the department through effective selling
  • Identify growth areas to sell
  • Identify a target list of clients to sell and grow/develop sales.
  • Assist with windows and door cross selling to Allen & Allen Co.’s Executive Accounts.   
    • Work with the business development representatives to respond to bid requests 
    • Offer advice and expertise that solves problems and offers solutions
    • Source materials to match needs
  • Prepare customer quotes, enter sales orders, utilize window and door manufacturing portals
  • Follow up on current sales orders and coordinate deliveries/pick up as needed
  • Participate in coordination calls and meetings
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects
  • Provide input to improve product offerings & showroom needs (responding to demand and trends)
  • Manage and develop good working relationships
  • Support and cooperate with other Allen & Allen Co. Team members
  • Active participation in the strategy of company-wide business development objective
  • Regularly participate in community and corporate networking events and meetings
  • Maintain clean orderly work environment
  • And any other duties and/or assignments as may be required or assigned
 
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Working knowledge of window and door product offerings and the construction process
  • Ability to read, understand and perform take offs from blue prints
  • General Computer Skills including Microsoft Teams, Excel, and D365
  • Excellent management and interpersonal skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to motivate team to accomplish objectives
  • Ability to solve conflicts among coworkers

Work Environment
This job operates in a combination of showroom, office and warehouse environments out of our San Antonio and Johnson City facilities.  Sales Specialists are expected to work 40 hours a week.  This can be flexible, hybrid hours depending on project needs.
