Description

We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Workforce Development Events Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing a variety of workforce development events across the country.


Plan and manage logistics for the organization’s participation in local, state and national events.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  1. Managing the organization’s events calendar
  2. Developing detailed plans for events, including timelines and logistics
  3. Creating and managing budgets, ensuring that all expenses ae tracked and stay within financial constraints
  4. Coordinating with vendors such as caterers, decorators, audio-visual technicians, and venues
  5. Working with Marketing to promote events through various channels including social media, email campaigns etc.
  6. Coordinating sponsorship opportunities
  7. Registration of organization and attendees
  8. Coordinating what is needed for each event – i.e. booth, collateral, giveaways etc.
  9. Coordinating travel
  10. Maintaining inventory of all event materials to include booths, banners, give aways, collateral etc.
  11. Post-event– gathering feedback from attendees and stakeholders to assess the success of the event and identify areas of improvement
  12. Provide support and resources to participants, ensuring a positive and engaging experience
  13. Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure that all aspects of the event align with organizational goals
Requirements
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, with at least two (2) years of relevant experience in event planning or coordination.
  • Demonstrated experience in planning, organizing, and executing events.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Salesforce is strongly preferred.
