Zimm Mixer in Celeste, TX

Thalle Construction Co. Inc. (“Thalle”) is seeking a Zimm Mixer. The Zimm Mixer will report to the Superintendent and work closely with and support the operations team, interact with a variety of staff at all levels and uphold a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. This position is located in Celeste, Texas.

• Operate Zimm mixing equipment according to established procedures and guidelines.

• Monitor and adjust mixing parameters to achieve desired product specifications.

• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of mixing equipment.

• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the mixing area.

• Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.

• Record and report production data accurately.

• Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes.

• Adhere to quality control standards and perform quality checks on finished products.

 

 

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not mandatory

• Previous experience operating Zimm mixers or similar equipment is preferred.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and specifications.

• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.

 

 

• Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.

• Work in a variety of weather conditions with exposure to the elements.

• Must have good hand-eye coordination, quick reaction times.

• Able to wear a hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, and safety-toed boots.

• Able to walk moderate distances to reach work area up to 1/2 mile

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.

• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.

• Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone.

• Must be able to pass a Pre-Employment drug screen.
