1-1050 - Oper: Servicer

Essential Functions:

As a lube technician you will be responsible for servicing company vehicles. 

Job Description:

• Responsible for changing oil transmission fluids and maintaining vehicle standards.
• Performs routine checks and maintenance of all vehicles, including checking tire pressures and fluid levels. 
• Examine repairs, and make recommendations.
• Thoroughly inspect company vehicles for oil leaks.
• Lubricate wheel bearings to prevent excessive tire wear.
• Follow all SSI and customer policies and procedures.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience
• Proven automotive repair experience is a must.
• Highschool diploma or GED
• Ability to communicate with employees and various business contacts in a professional and courteous manner.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Physical requirements:

Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and work in harsh weather for long periods of time.  Depending on the phase of the job, all personnel are required to work in conditions where physical demands can consist of placing one’s body in various positions to inspect and accomplish certain tasks such as:

• Sitting
• Standing
• Squatting
• Climbing
• Raising and lowering objects from one level to another
• Carrying objects, holding in hands or arms or on the shoulder
