The successful candidate will assist in research, development and implementation of an automated platform and application testing solution during the Fall of 2025 for Boise Cascade. The candidate will be a part of the Integration Architectures team that handles architecture (traditional and cloud), middleware, platform, development, data and citizen integration IT disciplines and focus.  Depending on areas of interest, the role will be tailored heavy for that discipline, however the expectation is to participate on a project team with key deliverables in citizen integration.  Onsite and remote work is required. A reliable internet connection as well as a quiet, dedicated workspace is also required.

Responsibilities

  • Primary focus to assist on citizen integration tools such as Power Automate, Power Apps, SharePoint, Teams and CoPilot.
  • Assisting application software developers and engineers in development of infrastructure as code solutions to cover platform, application, security, and function.
  • Collaborate with content owners to execute migrations, restructures and apply classification/labeling standards.
  • Assist with problem determination and resolution efforts when operational issues with integration solutions arise.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

     Qualifications 

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Experience with SharePoint, OneDrive and traditional storage a must.
    • Comfort with Power Suite, MS teams, PowerShell and/or Python.
    • Experience with technical writing and documentation for knowledge bases.
    • Fundamental understanding in web application architectures and/or integration solutions and storage.
    • Bench strength in areas like Linux, Windows, scripting, CICD/pipelines, and Cloud Compute Services.
    • Knowledge of SQL, relational databases, SDLC, and DevOps.
    • Working towards a degree in IT, Communications or equivalent work experience in related job function

    Preferred Qualifications: 

    • Experience with functions and automation tools like logic apps.
    • Experience with API protocols and schemas such as SOAP and REST.
    • Experience with relational database design and management techniques.
    • Proficient in a development language (C#, Java, etc).
    • Experience in Agile, ITIL and related project and program frameworks.
