The Assistant Construction & Warranty Specialist position requires working closely with customers, builders, and sub-contractors in a fast-paced environment. They must be a team player that is able to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction while staying on time and on budget. The ideal candidate is a team player who can multi-task, use excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills. Must be able to deal with and remain calm in challenging situations.Β 


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform minor repairs
  • Coordinate and schedule all other repairs with subcontractors and customers
  • Follow up, inspect and insure completion of all repairs
  • Hold subcontractors accountable for work product
  • Instruct customers on how to maintain their homes, as well as communicating what items are not warrantable
  • Manage warranty budget
  • Handle multiple tasks, as well as projects within designated timeframes
  • The ability to say "no" and overcome objections in a professional manner
  • Support the Construction team by doing occasional tasks for Construction Project Managers when out on leave


Requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • At least two years related experience in home building industry


Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times. Β
