Description
  • Contributes to the preparation or modification of project plans, budgets, scheduling, and coordination
  • Support PM in the management of proposed change orders, claims, modifications to the plans, Requests for Information (RFIs), submittals, RFQs, and RFPs
  • Accurate forecasting and management of budgets
  • Provide recommendations by identifying errors in documents
  • Researches requirements & obtains required permits & licenses from granting agencies
  • Helps prepare project-related documents & reports (meeting agendas, meeting notes, client reports, correspondence, project photos, etc.)
  • May be responsible for identifying safety requirements and quality controls
  • May be responsible for managing subcontractor relationships
  • Resolution of problems involving labor disputes, material delivery, and contract administration
  • Maintain vehicle, equipment, and tools management


Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, related degree
  • Minimum 6 months – 1 year of work experience successfully supporting similar projects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all hierarchies in the organization, customers, and vendors
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to efficiently analyze and organize significant amounts of information regarding plan layouts, material deliveries, and Jobsite productivities
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Advanced knowledge of safety and relevant OSHA requirements and regulations
  • Ability to travel and work for an extended period on projects outside of the office area
  • Basic Knowledge of accounting principles
  • Understanding a budget and the concept of forecasting job costs
  • Ability to effectively track material procurement

Physical Requirements:

Combination Office and Field Environment: Most work performed in a typical office environment. Standing and sitting for long periods is required; it may be required to reach in all directions, kneel, stoop or climb a small ladder. Work may infrequently be performed at a job site, construction trailer, or the field. Fieldwork may sometimes involve exposure to elements, inclement weather, and being exposed to sounds of heavy construction equipment and requires extensive walking. Adherence to applicable safety protocol is required.
