Vanguard Maintenance & Electrical, Inc. is seeking a Low Voltage Electrician/Technician to join our dynamic team. This role is focused on the installation and maintenance of low-voltage systems such as BMS / PLC controls. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, responsible, and eager to learn and grow within the company.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Rough in and install low-voltage cabling for BMS / PLC systems in commercial projects.
  • Terminate low-voltage cabling in control panels and end devices
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to ensure projects are completed on time and within the scope

The ideal candidate should possess:
  • Responsible, self-motivated, and capable of working independently
  • Willing to learn and grow within the company
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of teamwork
  • 3+ years of experience in the Basic knowledge of BMS control systems (preferred, but not required; willing to train)
  • Experience with additional low-voltage systems (fire alarms, access control, AV, Telecom/Data) is a plus

Physical Demands:
  • Climbing stairs and ladders; bending, lifting 50+lbs, carrying, pushing, and pulling equipment and materials
  • Exposure to various weather conditions such as sun, heat, cold, and rain
  • Working on lifts and ladders at heights
