Position Overview

Kings Construction is seeking a skilled and motivated Team Lead to oversee and execute high-quality residential and commercial window and door installation projects. As a certified Pella installer, you will lead a crew in delivering exceptional results while maintaining strict adherence to manufacturer specifications, safety standards, and project timelines. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and Manage Crew: Supervise installation teams to achieve project goals on time and to quality standards.
  • Install Excellence: Perform installations of windows, doors, sliders, and entry doors following Pella and manufacturer specifications.
  • Safety Compliance: Work on scaffolding and ladders while adhering to OSHA and safety protocols, including fall protection measures.
  • Client Communication: Engage professionally with clients, providing updates and addressing any on-site concerns.
  • Tools and Materials Oversight: Manage tools, materials, and job site organization to maximize productivity.
  • Documentation: Utilize CompanyCam to document all stages of the project, tracking progress and ensuring accountability.
  • Mentorship: Train and mentor crew members to ensure skill development and consistent performance.
  • Problem Solving: Collaborate with project managers to troubleshoot challenges and ensure seamless project execution.

Qualifications
  • Required Experience:
    • Proven experience in window and door installation, with a focus on residential remodeling projects.
    • Familiarity with Pella products and adherence to manufacturer specs (preferred).
    • Experience working cleanly and respectfully in customers' homes.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficient in using tools such as chop saws, table saws, sawzalls, and drivers.
    • Experience with a break for bending capping is a plus.
    • Ability to manage and operate company vehicles and 18' enclosed trailers.
  • Leadership and Soft Skills:
    • Demonstrated ability to train, mentor, and motivate a team.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client and team interaction.
    • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on quality and accountability.
  • Safety and Certifications:
    • Knowledge of OSHA standards and fall protection practices.
    • Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA, equipment training) are a plus or will be provided.
