Position Summary:

The Landscape Branch Manager will oversee all aspects of branch operations, including profit and loss (P&L) management, sales growth, operational efficiency, and team development. This role is integral to driving market share expansion, ensuring exceptional service delivery, and building a high-performing team in one of Texas’s most competitive markets.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Development:

  • Recruit, train, and mentor a talented team of landscape professionals.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence.
  • Provide ongoing leadership and coaching to ensure team members reach their potential.

Sales & Business Development:

  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to grow market share in the Houston metro area.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with commercial clients, property managers, and developers.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to secure new contracts and renew existing ones.

Operational Oversight:

  • Oversee daily branch operations, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency.
  • Manage commercial landscape maintenance and installation projects, meeting deadlines and budgets.
  • Implement best practices to optimize workflows and service delivery.

Financial Management:

  • Manage branch P&L, ensuring profitability and cost control.
  • Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial performance reports.
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial performance and operational efficiencies.

Customer Relations:

  • Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality work and responsive service.
  • Address client concerns proactively and maintain strong, long-term relationships.
  • Represent the company professionally in the community and industry events.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in the commercial landscape industry.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of landscape maintenance, installations, and horticulture practices.
  • Business Acumen: Proven track record of managing P&L, budgets, and achieving financial goals.
  • Sales Skills: Experience in business development and growing market share.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and inspire high-performing teams.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Certifications: Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CLT, CLP) are a plus.
