Job Description

·         Perform various carpentry tasks including door hanging, fixture installation, caulking, plastering, metal stud framing, and construction painting.

·         Measure, mark, and cut drywall panels according to design plans. Fasten panels and tiles to support structures.

·         Patch, trim, and smooth rough spots and edges. Apply tape and sealing compound to cover joints between wall boards.

·         Installation of rough carpentry, framing, hanging of insulation and drywall, suspended ceiling systems, caulking, miscellaneous and drywall trim.

·         Install cabinets, counter tops, flooring, trim, and other carpentry components.

·         Ability to make repairs to doors, frames, walls, and ceilings.

·         Maintain positive working relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers and other employees.

·         Other activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

·         Good communication skills, ability to work independently or as part of a team.

·         Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods of time.

·         Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

·         Proficient in using carpentry hand and power tools and equipment.

·         Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, fiberglass, and other materials according to specifications.

·         Inspect all tools and power tools before use to ensure they are in safe and working condition.

·         Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
