Position Summary<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span>
<\/p>

Our Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for overseeing all financial operations and strategy of Randall and its various business units. This role involves managing financial planning, risk management, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The CFO will work closely with the CEO and other senior executives to drive the company's financial success and growth.<\/span><\/span>

Financial Strategy and Planning<\/span><\/span><\/b>
<\/p>

• Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's and specific business units’ goals and objectives.<\/span><\/span>

• Oversee the preparation and management of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Analyze financial data and market trends to inform strategic decisions.<\/span><\/span>

  Financial Reporting and Compliance<\/span><\/span><\/b>
  <\/p>

  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, reports, and analyses.<\/span><\/span>

  • Maintain compliance with all financial regulations, including tax laws and reporting requirements.<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Work with external auditors, tax professionals, and bonding\/insurance providers to ensure proper coverage, implementation and compliance.<\/span><\/span>

    Cash Flow and Asset Management<\/span><\/span><\/b>
    <\/p>

    • Manage cash flow to ensure the company has sufficient liquidity for operations and investments.<\/span><\/span>

    • Oversee the management of company assets, including real estate, equipment, and investments.<\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Implement strategies to optimize asset utilization and return on investment.<\/span><\/span>

      Risk Management<\/span><\/span><\/b>
      <\/p>

      • Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with construction projects and operations.<\/span><\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Oversee insurance coverage and surety bonding to protect the company from unforeseen events.<\/span><\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Conduct contract risk assessments to identify potential financial liabilities.<\/span><\/span>
        <\/li> <\/ul>

        Construction Financial Management<\/span><\/span><\/b>
        <\/p>

        • Deep knowledge of job costing, WIP (Work\-in\-Progress) schedules, percentage\-of\-completion accounting, and retention billing<\/span><\/span>
          <\/li>
        • Experience with construction\-specific KPIs, e.g., backlog, margin fade\/gain, overhead absorption<\/span><\/span>
          <\/li>
        • Designing and monitoring systems to control labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs<\/span><\/span>
          <\/li>
        • Integration with project management teams for real\-time updates<\/span><\/span>
          <\/li>
        • Mastery of job costing methods<\/span><\/span>
          <\/li>
        • Understanding of cost codes, cost\-to\-complete, and earned value analysis<\/span><\/span>
          <\/li> <\/ul>

          ERP and Accounting Software Expertise<\/span><\/span><\/b>
          <\/p>

          • Knowledge of ComputerEase (preferable)<\/span><\/span>

            Excel and Data Analytics<\/span><\/span><\/b>

            • Advanced use of Excel skills: pivot tables, v\-lookups, dashboards<\/span><\/span>

              Construction Tax Compliance<\/span><\/span><\/b>
              <\/p>

              • Expertise in revenue recognition (percentage\-of\-completion, completed contract), muti\-state taxes, managing sales\/use tax, retainage, and\/or tax requirements<\/span><\/span>
                <\/li> <\/ul>

                Team Leadership and Development<\/span><\/span><\/b>
                <\/p>

                • Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.<\/span><\/span>
                  <\/li>
                • Oversee the training, and development of financial staff.<\/span><\/span>
                  <\/li>
                • Promote collaboration and effective communication within the finance team and across departments \/ business units.<\/span><\/span>
                  <\/li> <\/ul>

                  Stakeholder Engagement<\/span><\/span><\/b>
                  <\/p>

                  • Build and maintain relationships with business unit leaders, lenders, and other financial stakeholders.<\/span><\/span>
                    <\/li>
                  • Negotiate financing terms and agreements to support company growth and operations.<\/span><\/span>
                    <\/li>
                  • Represent the company in internal and external financial discussions and presentations.<\/span><\/span>

                    Desired Qualification Requirements<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span>
                    <\/p>

                    • 10+ years of experience in financial management in commercial construction.<\/span><\/span>
                      <\/span><\/li>
                    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting & finance.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
                      <\/li>
                    • Proven Track record of success in strategic financial planning and management.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
                      <\/li>
                    • Solid knowledge database of processes and procedures to track and manage project job costing and business unit profitability.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
                      <\/li>
                    • ​<\/span><\/span><\/span>Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.<\/span><\/span>
                      <\/li>
                    • Excellent analytical and problem\-solving abilities.<\/span><\/span>
                      <\/li>
                    • High level proficiency in financial forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.<\/span><\/span>
                      <\/li>
                    • Deep knowledge of construction industry financial practices and regulations.<\/span><\/span>

                      Physical Requirements<\/span><\/span><\/b>
                      <\/p>

                      This is primarily an office position and, as such, you must be able <\/span><\/span>to sit up to six or more hours in an eight\-hour workday, lift light objects such as files and paperwork frequently during the day, and objects weighing up to 10 pounds occasionally during the day. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>You must also be able to bend, stretch, crouch, and lift as required by the job.<\/span><\/span>
