Position Overview:
We are seeking a Commercial Construction Scheduler / Planner to join our construction management/project controls team supporting major energy projects in Houston and multiple sites. You will create, maintain, and analyze project schedules, monitor risks, and help ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, update, and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project.
  • Prepare schedule analyses and status reports for internal and client reviews.
  • Identify schedule risks and recommend mitigation strategies with project teams.
  • Apply scheduling techniques, including critical path analysis, resource loading, and schedule baseline management.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure timely execution.
  • Maintain project documentation, meeting minutes, and communications with stakeholders.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years managing commercial construction projects, including scheduling, contractor oversight, and budget control.
  • Minimum 4 years of direct project control experience using Primavera P6.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in facilities maintenance, plant operations, or engineering services.
  • Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera P6, and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Adobe Writer).
  • Strong understanding of project management and scheduling techniques.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with integrated master schedules (IMS) and large-scale energy or industrial projects.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
