Links Construction in Denton, TX is seeking a Lead Multifamily Superintendent to lead the onsite construction team in successfully executing multifamily construction projects. A Day in The Life of a Lead Superintendent

As a Lead Superintendent, you will be on the jobsite leading a team of Superintendents and managing daily construction operations. You will plan ahead for efficient project execution to drive the project schedule. Communication is critical to your success. You are responsible for safety, the quality of work, and for delivering the project on time and within budget.

Your positive, collaborative disposition comes through in all your interactions and is how you are able to foster and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. Your excellent communication skills and attention to detail ensure that their needs are met. You prepare reports and status updates for both your clients, stakeholders, and upper management over the course of the project. If there are any issues or changes, you are sure to keep everyone informed. You take great pride in your work and enjoy coming to work every day.

Supervisory Responsibility:

This position has supervisory responsibilities over Superintendents on the assigned project.

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position, 40 hours or more per week.

Travel:

This position requires moderate local travel and some potential overnight stays. Reliable transportation is required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Required Education and Experience:

• 10+ years of prior Superintendent work experience in Commercial or Multi-Family construction.
• Must be familiar with all facets of building construction.
• Proficient in all MS Office software

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, or similar field
• Prior ViewPoint Construction Software experience
• Smartsheets experience
• Bluebeam experience
• Procore experience
• Phoenix scheduling software experience
• Extensive knowledge of water intrusion and water proofing systems is a plus.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications:

• Satisfactory results from a drug screen, background, and MVR check.
• Must have valid driver’s license and have current insurance.
• Ability to travel with some overnight stays.

• This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping crouching, squatting, crawling, climbing, and going up and down stairs all day.

• Able to read, write, and speak English; Spanish speaking is a plus.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job includes close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• Must be able to lift and/or move items up to 80 pounds without assistance.
