Position Summary
The Construction Contracts Administrator for Engineered Building Solutions (EBS) reviews and analyzes commercial construction contracts to ensure that our
business is compliant with federal, state, and local standards, as well as insurance regulations. This role also assists with the preparation, review, and
administration of insurance documents.
Responsibilities
•Ensure the compliance of contract documents and that conditions are executed to corporate standard practices, policies, and procedures
• Assist with negotiation of contract terms
• Red line and negotiate terms within established guidelines to mitigate contractual risk
• Coordinate with sales support to verify the contract scope and price match the quotes
• Coordinate with accounting to verify change order amounts are correct
• Prepare final contract documents
• Identify and notify other departments of special requirements, such as special billing requirements or on-line billing programs, certified payroll reporting, local hiring, etc.
• Enroll in controlled insurance programs and participate in annual renewals and audits
• Order or pull insurance certificates from insurance company on-line database
• Review and upload customer insurance certificates into a database
• Make suggestions to improve the contract review process and develop and maintain procedures
• Maintain knowledge and awareness of industry laws and practices

Knowledge & Skills
• Strong knowledge of construction industry practices and procedures
• Strong knowledge of bidding processes, contract terminology, liens, and invoicing
• Strong knowledge of construction insurance programs, particularly liability
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with team members and customers verbally & in writing
• Must be able to analyze and interpret laws and regulations related to construction contracts
• Must be highly organized and detail oriented
•Able to complete work accurately and on time
•Moderate to advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
•Ability to perform basic math
Education
• High School diploma or equivalent is required
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, Paralegal or related field preferred
• Must have or be able to obtain industry required certifications
Experience
• 2 - 5 years proven experience in a construction or insurance Contract Administrator role
• Experience with insurance wrap-up program (OCIP & CCIP) administration
• Experience creating and updating procedures
Work Environment
•Physical Conditions:
This position works in a professional office environment, routinely uses standard office equipment, and is seated for long periods of time.
•Location:
This role is located at our office in Boise, ID. Employees must be present at the office and available to perform the essential functions of their jobs whenever they
are scheduled to work.

•Travel: This position requires minimal travel
•This role requires driving for the Company, so candidates who receive an offer of employment for this role must have a current Idaho driver’s license and have a
clean MVR
•Must have finger dexterity
•Must be able to reach, bend, kneel, and crouch occasionally
•Must be able to safely lift 40 pounds
