Construction Foreman

A construction and landscaping company with over 35 years of experience. JTK Rental and Construction LLC is looking for skilled employees to provide support for our growing Construction needs.

Hours are Monday through Friday 6:30am-5pm. We start every Monday at our Akron shop. Some weeks will require overnight travel M-F.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Construction Foreman to lead field operations, manage crews, and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. 

Foreman will need to have 3+ years experience working around Gas Utilities and Pipelines.  Knowledge of Hydrovac excavating.  Installing storm water management projects. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who can drive productivity while maintaining a high standards of workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of field crews
• Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with OSHA standards
• Manage schedules, materials, and equipment on-site
• Track progress and report on project milestones
• Troubleshoot field issues and implement solutions quickly
• Supervise and coordinate end of day cleanup

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction experience (foreman or lead role preferred)
• Strong leadership and crew management skills
• Ability to read construction drawings and plans
• Knowledge of construction safety practices and regulations
• Working knowledge of operating and use of surveying equipment
• Experience with excavation, Storm water management, Parking lot installation and Gas line utilities.
• Valid driver’s license required
• CDL or equipment operation experience is a plus

Pay:

Starting at 60K. Pay will be based on experience.
