Replace Mammoth Wastewater Collection System project at Yellowstone National Park. This project will rehabilitate the gravity sewer infrastructure system that collects and conveys wastewater from Mammoth Hot Springs in Yellowstone National Park to the wastewater treatment plant between Mammoth and the Gardner River. The project will utilize a range of methods to replace or rehabilitate pipes and manholes, including open-trench replacement, pipe bursting and lining via Cured-in-Place Pipe (CIPP). The construction contractor will be responsible for maintaining sewer service throughout the construction, and for restoring any hardscaping/paving or landscaping damaged during the construction. Due to the project’s location in a national park and because much of the work of this project will be performed in areas in close proximity to sensitive natural and cultural resources, this project includes many significant and critical requirements associated with contractor operations and resource protection.
