ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Construction Project Manager in the Construction Management Division, you will play a critical role in delivering strategic capital projects that sustain and shape the future of Wyoming's public facilities.  This position provides strategic oversight, ensures compliance with state and federal requirements, and drives successful project outcomes from concept through completion.

Project Managers in the Construction Management Division are responsible for managing multiple capital construction and major maintenance projects of varying size, scope, and complexity.  Working in partnership with state agencies and community colleges, Project Managers oversee all phases of project delivery - from planning and programming through design, procurement, contracting, construction, warranty and closeout.Key responsibilities include developing and managing project budgets; leading procurement and bid processes; coordinating design oversight and construction administration; enforcing scheduling, cost controls, and quality assurance measures; and ensuring full compliance with applicable statutes, codes, and regulatory requirements.  Project Managers also serve as the primary liaison between stakeholders, contractors, architects, and consultants, attending commission and committee meetings as needed and conducting on-site observations to verify the work meets approved plans and specifications.
