Our Project Executives are responsible for several projects and their corresponding teams in a particular industry or sector. This position is to oversee a construction division and will operate out of our Cameron and/or College Station office.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Project Executive is a Senior leader responsible for overseeing the strategic direction of a department, planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring they align with organizational goals, meet quality standards, and are delivered within budget and timeframe. Our Project Executives also act as a key point of contact for clients.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and Manage for Accountability
Lead and oversee the project teams, including field and office operations staff
Identify potential risks, develop contingency plans, and proactively address issues to minimize project disruptions
Confers with project staff to outline work plans, assign duties/responsibilities and delegate authority
Project Delivery:
Manage project budget, monitor costs, identify potential cost overruns, and implement cost-saving measures.
Develop and maintain a detailed project schedule, identify critical path items, and ensure timely project completion.
Implement quality control measures to guarantee project deliverables meet specifications and industry standards.
Regularly visit the construction site to monitor progress, identify safety concerns, and ensure compliance with regulations.
Collaborate with the business development team to prepare proposals and bids for new projects.
Customer Relations:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and expectations to ensure project alignment.
Participate in contract negotiations with preconstruction services and clients.
Ensure consistent performance, project delivery (preconstruction and construction) will exceed client expectations. Responsible for all corporate commitments and follow-through.
Strategic Direction & Execution:
Develop and implement comprehensive project strategies, aligning project goals with the company's broader strategic objectives.
Influence team growth and development throughout department utilizing training tools, people services, and encouragement

Knowledge, Education, Skills & Abilities Required:
Bachelor’s degree in construction science or other relevant degree – encouraged, but not required
At least 10 years of relevant work experience.
Excellent communication, great leadership skills
Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with the ability to deal with rapidly changing business conditions.
