Our client is seeking an experienced Construction Safety Manager to support safety operations across multiple active job sites. This hands‑on, field‑based role ensures full compliance with OSHA, DOT, and state/local regulations, leads site audits, manages incident investigations, and delivers safety training to maintain a strong culture of safety.

Requirements:
Site Safety & Risk Management
- Identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain site‑specific safety plans and procedures.
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments across multiple job sites.
- Ensure all construction activities comply with OSHA, DOT, and state/local regulations.
Incident Management & Compliance
- Manage workers' compensation reporting and case follow‑up.
- Perform root‑cause analysis and implement preventative measures.
- Investigate, document, and manage EHS incidents, near misses, and injuries.
- Maintain OSHA logs, certifications, incident reports, and regulatory documentation.
Training & Safety Programs
- Develop and deliver safety training for new hires and monthly safety meetings.
- Create safety materials, toolbox talks, and compliance‑focused training content.
- Support continuous improvement of safety management systems and best practices.
Qualifications (Must-Haves)
- OSHA 30 Construction certification (required)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in personnel‑related matters.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations specific to construction.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an EHS‑related field OR a Bachelor's degree in EHS or related discipline.
- Experience with incident investigations, workers' compensation, and safety documentation.
- Construction safety management experience in commercial construction environments.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience supporting multiple job sites.
- Strong ability to influence field teams and drive safety culture.
- Familiarity with DOT compliance, subcontractor safety oversight, and job hazard analysis.
