About The Position:

The Construction Servicing Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the construction loan servicing function, including staff supervision, process management, risk oversight, and regulatory compliance. This role ensures that construction loans are administered accurately, disbursements are managed efficiently, and projects are monitored to mitigate financial, operational, and credit risk. The Manager serves as a key liaison between borrowers, contractors, internal lending teams, and third-party vendors, ensuring high-quality service and adherence to organizational goals.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead, train, and supervise construction servicing staff to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
  • Oversee the setup, servicing, and monitoring of construction loan portfolios. 
  • Ensure all draw requests, inspections, lien waivers, and documentation are reviewed and processed in accordance with policies and loan agreements. 
  • Manage borrower equity requirements, disbursement tracking, and loan balances.
  • Prepare and manage the construction draw procedures for the business.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for borrowers, contractors, inspectors, and internal stakeholders. Partner with loan officers, credit administration, and executive management to resolve complex servicing issues. 
  • Develop and maintain vendor relationships with inspectors, title companies, and third-party partners.
  • Qualifications:

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, construction management, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in construction loan servicing, portfolio management, or real estate finance, with at least 2+ years in a leadership role.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction loan structures and disbursement processes.

Physical Demands

  • While performing the duties of your job, you may regularly be required to sit and use a keyboard, multiple monitors, mouse, and telephone (including repetitive motions with hands, fingers, arms, etc.) for extended periods of time. You may also frequently be required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms, bend, and kneel.
  • You may occasionally be required to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.

Location and Travel Requirements

  • The Construction Servicing Manager has the ability to work remotely. (excluding California, Colorado and Ohio)
  • No travel required

Compensation & Benefits

  • $85,000 - 130,000 per year
