Construction Superintendent - Commercial GC - Base Salary to 130k/year - Dallas, TX

Our client is currently seeking a Construction Superintendent to join their team, focusing on projects within the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) area. This role is ideal for a Construction Superintendent with 8+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects valued between $10 million and $40 million. The Construction Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing all on-site activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities:
Manage all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
Read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and blueprints, and ensure all work is carried out in accordance with these documents.
Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, architects, and engineers to resolve any issues that may arise during construction.
Oversee the work of subcontractors, ensuring they meet the project’s quality and safety standards.
Develop and implement safety plans and ensure all team members adhere to company safety policies.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with safety regulations.
Prepare and maintain daily logs, reports, and documentation related to project progress and site conditions.
Order and inspect materials to ensure they meet project specifications and are delivered on time.
Act as the main point of contact for clients, keeping them informed of project progress and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
Manage the site workforce, providing guidance, training, and support as needed to ensure optimal performance.
Ensure that all tools, equipment, and vehicles are properly maintained and cared for.
Evaluate and implement efficient construction methods to optimize project delivery.
Handle any on-site issues or emergencies promptly and effectively to minimize disruptions.
Qualifications:
8+ years of experience as a Superintendent with a commercial GC.
Experience managing commercial projects valued at $10 million to $40 million+.
High School Diploma or higher (Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred).
Strong ability to read and interpret construction documents, including project plans, specifications, and shop drawings.
Clear understanding of the communication and documentation processes between owners, architects, and contractors.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Procore, and other construction-related software.
Strong knowledge of construction safety regulations and best practices.
Compensation:
Base salary in the 110k – 130k/year range
