Job Description

The Craft Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting the Project Team by managing various aspects related to craft personnel. This includes handling administrative tasks, coordinating orientations, and serving as a primary contact for craft employees. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Craft New Hire paperwork and physicals, including processing new hire packets and entering data into Workday.
  • Coordinate and present Craft New Hire Orientation in collaboration with the Craft Talent Partner.
  • Maintain manpower log for all craft.
  • Process craft hires, re-hires, terminations, and changes of status in Workday.
  • Act as a point of contact for craft employees addressing questions related to benefits, time, and phone/iPad/laptops.
  • Submit per diem requests for traveling craft employees.
  • Assist Superintendents and Project Managers with various craft-related needs.
  • Collaborate with Regional and National Team Members, including HR, Craft Benefits Generalist, Craft Talent Partners, Payroll, and Safety Team for comprehensive craft support.
  • Utilize company systems such as Workday, Rhumbix, CMiC, to enter data & run/generate reports as needed.
  • Coordinate lunch orders, trainings and meetings as needed.

Qualifications:

We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented team player with the ability to manage tasks, produce quality work and consistently meet deadlines. The successful candidate will possess:

  • Bi-lingual (English/Spanish). Ability to read, write and speak is required.
  • Excellent listening skills and strong communication skills.
  • People centric and self-motivated.
  • Ability to identify and resolve issues.
  • Professionalism and pleasant demeanor.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • 2+ years of administrative work.
  • A strong work ethic and a "can-do" attitude
  • This position is salaried.
