Now Hiring: Design Build (DB) Field Crew

Location: Central Ohio | Full-Time Onsite | Reports to: DB Foreman / DB Project Manager

We’re looking for a Design Build Crew Member to support field operations, assist with daily job site execution, and help deliver exceptional design/build projects safely and efficiently.

About the Role

As a Design Build Crew Member, you are an essential part of the Design Build Division. You’ll work alongside a Foreman and fellow crew members to complete landscape construction projects with precision and pride. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, operating equipment, learning new skills, and contributing to a strong team environment.

During the winter season, this role will also support snow operations by assisting with plowing or sidewalk crews.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Assist with installation of landscape construction projects including hardscapes, planting, grading, drainage, and other design-build elements

  • Follow direction from the Foreman to ensure projects meet quality standards and stay on schedule

  • Safely operate equipment including skid steers, dingos, saws, compactors, and hand tools

  • Perform daily care and basic maintenance of tools and equipment

  • Follow all PPE and safety guidelines on job sites

  • Maintain clean, organized job sites and assist with loading/unloading materials

  • Communicate clearly with your Foreman and teammates

  • Support team goals and maintain a professional, positive attitude on job sites

Qualifications

Required:

  • Experience in landscape construction, hardscape  or related field
  • Ability to operate landscape construction equipment 
  • Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
  • Strong understanding of safety practices

Preferred:

  • Experience operating landscape or construction equipment
  • Bilingual Spanish/English communication skills
  • Prior snow operations experience
  • Experience driving truck and trailer
