JOB OVERVIEW:  Rodeo Dental & Orthodontics is recruiting for a highly experienced   construction management leader who has successfully provided oversight and project management for multi-site organizations in the end to end process of new office construction and opening.

REPORTS TO:  Vice President of Strategic Sourcing 

 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, preferred; or equivalent work experience including certification in project management or construction management i.e. Certified Construction Manager (CCM).

- Seven (7+) plus years’ experience in Construction / New Office  management

- Proven track record in managing multiple concurrent construction projects, preferably in dentistry or traditional healthcare sectors.

- Excellent project management skills with a focus on budget and timeline adherence.

- Extensive Vendor Management skills, capable of effectively driving external construction companies to meet Rodeo’s timelines

- Comprehensive understanding of safety regulations, local building codes and requirements, and construction quality standards.

- Exceptional communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

- Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Project, as well as web-based project management software systems

- Must be proactive & solutions-oriented; innovative in approaching new opportunities

- Able to adapt quickly and appropriately while ensuring on time and on budget project delivery 

- Other duties as deemed necessary or requested




ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND COMPETENCIES:

- Project Oversight: Direct and manage all phases of office construction projects from planning through to execution, ensuring completion on time and within budget.

- Budget Management: Develop and oversee project budgets, project bidding, ensuring cost-effective use of resources and adherence to financial guidelines.

- Timeline Coordination: Establish and maintain accurate project timelines, coordinating with stakeholders to ensure smooth project progression.

- Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce quality control standards to ensure all construction meets industry standards, local code and regulatory requirements, and company expectations.

- Safety Standards: Promote and maintain a culture of safety, ensuring all construction activities comply with safety regulations and best practices, including Federal, State,  local and OSHA.

- Vendor Collaboration: Engage with architects, construction firms, municipalities, and capital equipment vendors to align construction efforts with overall project goals.

- Executive Team Collaboration: Engage with the Rodeo Executive team on project planning, milestone / timeline updates, and Board and internal communication.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 

- Ability to travel up to 50%

- Prolonged sitting and standing as needed 

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
