Dispatch Manager

As a Dispatch Manager, you will oversee logistics and trucking operations while ensuring safety, environmental, regulatory and production targets are met. You will work closely with other employees, internal/external customers/suppliers, and local/state/federal representatives.

You will make an impact through the scheduling and coordination of transportation to deliver aggregate products in southeastern Wyoming and northern Colorado markets and overseeing daily scheduling, ticketing, and hauler reconciliations
 

• Assists sales with customer communication, credit & collections, pricing implementation, order processing, customer delivery, system support and quotation preparation. 
• Implements systems and processes to provide freight rates for zone mapping, large projects, and annual supply contracts
• Tracks delivery times, transport costs, and efficiency; maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements
• Plans and coordinates repair and preventative maintenance on trucking equipment; makes recommendations regarding equipment replacement or disposal
• Reinforces safety guidelines with employees, vendors and subcontractors at job sites and on Simon property and job sites

·       5 or more years of experience working in commercial trucking operations/logistics, construction or related field

·       3 years of experience supervising others preferred

·       Degree in Business Administration, Supply-Chain Management, Logistics, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

·       Knowledge of DOT, OSHA, MSHA, and other applicable local, state, and federal regulations

·       Valid drivers’ license and clean driving history; Class A CDL with endorsements a plus
